_ Hi! I am an intervention specialist from Ohio. I have taught students with multiple disabilities for over 13 years. I have a passion for
incorporating technology within the classroom ~ whether that be
assistive technology specifically adapted for students with special
needs or figuring out a way to modify mainstream technologies to use
with the students.
Within the past two years, I have been
involved with integrating iPad use within classroom. I have presented at
several local workshops on using an iPad with students with special
needs and well as a statewide technology conference. I also developed and presented an introduction to using a
SMART Board within the classroom and using the SMART Board with students
with special needs. I am currently is a graduate student at Michigan State University studying Educational Technology.
